Spells To Turn Me Into A Real Dragon That Can

Skyline

No news
Food for aliens

Ricardo Martínez García

Few in Los Angeles, with its complacent and superficial lives in luxury condominiums, suspected something like this: an incomprehensible nightmare at first. The unexpected arrival and simple abduction or physical removal to serve as food, what a strange alien species has out to plague the California capital on unsuspecting humans and almost powerless. This is the story told by the Brothers Strause on tape Skyline (2010), from the point of view of a small group of wealthy young people.

Much closer Cloverfield or War of the Worlds that Tron, or rather of Starships Troopers, by the style of filming, for example, within the genre of science fiction, Skyline has an apocalyptic vision of lightning and total invasion of the human race by some aliens who feed on their brains still alive, and whose minds are harnessed alienated against their own kind, save in exceptional cases, giving life and movement to online foreign bodies produced in the style of Alien like the eggs of an insect hiperrreproductor.

There is really very little new in this work by the Strause, if you've seen the classics of the genre as the aforementioned films, the drama is anticipated after the first fifteen minutes, although it is interesting to see the recreation and design of these beings from another world, similar to small marine jellyfish and motionless with their long legs, they move to compress their bodies, or around your mothership.

The special effects are correct but not outstanding and the story is told on a regular basis but it is very innovative, so it is a dispensable tape and unsatisfactory, even for fans of the genre.
