The loneliness of a magician
Ricardo Martínez García
In the penultimate installment of the hit series of films based on novels by JK Rowling, the wizard hero, Harry Potter sporting an incipient mustache, going through moments of very human darkness, such as loneliness, doubt, discouragement, constantly escaping from its enemies, apparently not understanding, neither he nor his friends, loaded everyone in the search for the Horcruxes and destruction, hoping to beat Voldemort on his own ground: the magic.
With an aesthetic of desolation almost documentary landscape, but beautiful and real artistic talent (the product of a team of more than fifteen art directors, led by Andrew Ackland-Snow and Neil Lamont), in addition to the excellent special effects, changes of scenery are outstanding and emphasize the moods of the three friends, superbly directed by David Yates.
In addition to the feelings of responsibility for the life of others, and their own oppression and loneliness they have to overcome Harry, Ron and Hermione must also deal with their feelings, which are amplified and distorted (especially Ron and Harry, as when Frodo carrying the ring) to hang as a necklace stolen the Horcrux that Dolores Umbridge.
Without forgetting moments of humor here and there dotting the plot, Yeats succeeds in building one of the most beautiful films and humanities in this saga, with the best visual effects, mature, modest, away from the spectacular and artful magic that prevailed in some early films. Widely recommended.
