Stieg Larsson, the Swedish writer, author of the saga of Milenium , Which we have adapted the film versions and exhibited in Mexico and two of them died in 2004 at the age of 50 years. Milenium 2, a film directed by Daniel Alfredson, is the adaptation for the book The Girl Who Played with Fire a gasoline can.

If the first part of the literary and film trilogy action focuses on the work of investigative journalist Mikael Blomkvist (Michael Nyqvist) and the valuable help of the hacker Lisbeth Salander (Noomi Rapace) to solve the disappearance the great-niece of a prominent businessman, in this second part Lisbeth confronts his private demons and its particular history, settled accounts with some people from his past, while Mikael always goes a step back on the track that leaves her, but making their appearance at the most pressing.

The pace is fast-paced action, with new characters that bring richness and agility argumentative Alfredson tape, which just is not consistent or at least lack of credibility at the end of the tape, when it is left driven by a kind of Rambo syndrome incarnated in the character of Salander. A hiccup that can be obviated by more than two hours of intense and intriguing narrative and investigative police criminal.

The novel approach of this film, starring European actors, has not been enough to keep it for more than two weeks on the Billboard film in Mexico City, which is a shame, because it offers an excellent alternative to the limited supply of quality films prior to the summer season.
